Fireworks While Under a Restricted Fire Zone

Due to the RFZ, no open-air burning of any kind, including campfires will be permitted.

We are further recommending that you avoid setting off fireworks given the extremely dry conditions and wish to advise that in accordance with the Forest Fires Prevention Act, any person who sets off fireworks, is responsible if any hot residue results in a fire and may be subject to a fine.

All burn permits issued by the Township are currently ON HOLD. Fines may be issued if the restrictions are not followed accordingly.
