The Township of McNab/Braeside offers a rural lifestyle along with cultural amenities. Made up of quaint villages and hamlets, residents and visitors alike enjoy all that the township’s natural landscape has to offer — from swimming, boating, fishing, rowing, canoeing/kayaking in the summer, to snowmobiling, ice fishing and skiing in the winter — as well as close proximity to small-town shops and big-city attractions. Only 30 minutes from Ottawa’s downtown core and with the TransCanada Highway a major artery through the area, the township is truly the gateway to the Upper Ottawa Valley.
The Township has endeavored to include all local schools on the list. If you are aware of any that have been omitted from the list please contact the Township.
The Joint Broadband Initiative with Admaston/Bromley has now been completed. For information on highspeed internet services coming to your area, please visit Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) for project details and time-lines.
